The work
VOLLMOND HERRSCHER is the working name of Bedirhan Elçik. The practice moves between colour, classical memory and historical imagination — exploring how images, stories and places are transformed through reinterpretation, reconstruction and the passage of time.
Series
Three series, 22 works in all. Dreamscapes explores imagined worlds through colour, atmosphere and form. The Odyssey revisits the ancient epic through its journeys, figures and encounters. Istanbul traces Constantinople through its final years — its people, walls, battles and the world surrounding them — leading to Mehmed II and the conquest of the city in 1453.
This site
The exhibition unfolds through movement, colour and encounter. Selected works drift with sound, others gather through colour and form, while the complete collection remains open to discovery. Each space offers another way of seeing — never still, never quite the same..
